Due to ongoing expansion, my client is currently looking to recruit a Private Client Paralegal for their expanding Stamford, Lincolnshire Office.
Your Responsibilities:
- Assisting with all aspects of probate work, including drafting, estate administration, tax planning, and Powers of Attorney.
- Supporting the team on trusts matters, including lifetime and will trusts, draft administration, and taxation issues.
- Managing a caseload under supervision, ensuring tasks are completed efficiently and accurately.
- Preparing documents and correspondence for client meetings and case progression.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date client files and records in line with firm procedures.
- Communicating effectively with clients, colleagues, and third parties.
Your Experience:
- Previous experience in private client work, ideally covering wills, trusts, and probate.
- Ability to manage a workload and meet deadlines with limited supervision.
- Direct contact with clients, both face to face and over the phone.
- Good knowledge of law relevant to wills, trusts, and probate.
- Familiarity with relevant statutory duties and compliance requirements.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Good organisational and file management skills.
- Competent in Microsoft Word and Outlook.
