Our client, an accountancy practice in Brighton, is excited to announce that they are looking to recruit a new Audit Manager to join their rapidly growing team.
Key Responsibilities Manage and deliver audit assignments from planning to completion, ensuring quality, compliance, and adherence to budgets and deadlines.
Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of clients Review audit files and financial statements, preparing work for Partner/RI review where required.
Lead, mentor, and develop junior team members Manage audit budgets, billing, and assignment profitability.
Prepare and review statutory financial statements in accordance with UK GAAP and relevant accounting standards.
Requirements ACA or ACCA qualified.
Significant UK accountancy practice experience, including audit management responsibilities.
Strong knowledge of UK auditing and accounting standards, company law, and corporation tax.
Experience managing a varied portfolio of clients and leading audit teams.
Strong IT skills, including Excel; experience with CCH, Pro Audit, or similar software is advantageous.
