A well-established law firm is seeking an experienced Residential Property Solicitor or Licensed Conveyancer to join its growing team in Bexleyheath. This role offers hybrid working and would suit a confident fee earner who enjoys autonomy, client contact, and a varied caseload.
Responsibilities include:
- Managing a full residential conveyancing caseload from instruction to post-completion
- Handling matters including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Shared ownership transactions
- New build purchases
- Remortgages
- Transfers of equity
- Auctions
- Unregistered land
- Transfers of part
- Enfranchisement matters
- Providing clear, practical legal advice to clients by telephone, email, and face-to-face
- Maintaining compliance with SRA, CQS, and internal procedures
- Keeping up to date with relevant property legislation and market developments
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships
- Supporting business development and marketing initiatives
- Managing billing efficiently and meeting agreed financial targets
Requirements:
- Qualified Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer, or equivalent legal professional
- Minimum 4 years' PQE or equivalent residential conveyancing experience
- Strong technical knowledge of residential property transactions
- Proven ability to independently manage a busy caseload
- Excellent client care and communication skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to work effectively to deadlines and performance targets
