Marylebone, London Our client is seeking a Dashboard Developer to be based in their Central London office.

This role dose come with a hybrid working.

We are seeking a Dashboard Developer to play a pivotal role in how we display complex data in an intuitive, easy to view and use dashboards.

Key responsibilities will include translating user requirements into dynamic and user-friendly dashboard solutions.

You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to understand their needs and prepare visually appealing representations of data that facilitate actionable insights.

Furthermore, you will play a pivotal role in envisioning how these upgraded dashboards can leverage the capabilities of the Data Lake, maximizing data accessibility and relevance.

Experienced desired:• Experience of working with SQL, data and databases to explore data.

  • Proven experience in designing and developing interactive dashboards and reports using Power BI, Tableau, Qlik View or another similar platform.
  • Familiarity with data warehousing concepts and cloud platforms (e. g., Azure, AWS).
  • Proficient in SQL for data manipulation and extraction.
  • Experience of working with big data storage solutions, such as Data Warehouses and/or Data Lakes.
  • Experience of generating internal and external reports for regulatory bodies.
  • Higher Education domain experience, specifically with Student Systems such as SITS.
  • Experience with collecting stakeholder requirements, understanding them and turning them into a powerful story told through. engaging visuals.
  • Experience with Azure Cloud platform.
  • Experience with data modelling.

Skills desired:• A bachelor's or master's degree in a related field such as Computer Science, Information Systems, Data Science, or a relevant domain within higher education.

  • Attention to detail and accuracy in generating dashboards and reports for the organisation.
  • Knowledge of data protection principles, such as GDPR.
  • Strong data analysis skills & analyst mindset.
  • Ingesting data from a variety of data sources and performing required transformations in a query editor.
  • Designing effective layouts using Data Visualisations best practices.
  • Strong proficiency in data visualization principles and best practices.
  • Developing calculations in DAX which are accurate and performant on large datasets.
  • Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and security in all dashboards and reports, adhering to university data governance policies.
  • Power BI certification (e. g., Microsoft

Certified: Data Analyst Associate).

  • Knowledge of other data visualization tools and programming languages (e. g., C#, Python) is a plus.
