Our client, a leading Liverpool law firm, is recruiting for a Trainee Solicitor to join their Personal Injury Department.

The Role

You will support the Personal Injury Department with fee-earning work, assisting with the management and progression of cases while delivering excellent client care. The position provides exposure to a broad range of matters and offers a clear pathway for professional development and qualification.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist with the management of a mixed caseload including RTA, EL, PL, Clinical Negligence, Housing Disrepair, CICA and Civil Litigation matters
  • Attend client meetings and provide a professional and client-focused service
  • Draft legal documents, correspondence, court applications and other legal documentation
  • Assist with negotiations involving clients, insurers and other third parties
  • Undertake legal research and analyse case law to support ongoing matters
  • Attend court hearings and other off-site appointments as required
  • Monitor and update matters on case management systems and online portals
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with clients, colleagues and external contacts
  • Assist with business development and networking activities
  • Ensure compliance with SRA regulations, GDPR requirements and internal procedures
  • Participate in training and professional development opportunities
