An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Private Client Legal Secretary to join my client's team in their Andover office. The firm's services cover the whole spectrum of wills, trusts, probate, court of protection/deputyship and estate-related matters. The successful candidate will be required to demonstrate excellent technical ability and knowledge of the wide range of private client areas of expertise.
Key Responsibilities:- To assist Fee Earners in the management of case-load by dealing with file related queries either face to face or by telephone.
- To ensure that clients are dealt with efficiently and politely and that appropriate legal matters are raised.
- To assist in general office administration and in the locating of files when necessary.
- To undertake photocopying when necessary.
- To answer external/internal telephone calls efficiently and politely and take messages, as and when necessary.
- To manage own and Fee Earner diaries.
- Assistant, secretarial or administrative experience (in this area of Law preferred).
- Fast, accurate typing ability using digital audio systems.
- Experience of using a case management system.
- Ability to take initiative and work independently when required.
- Excellent IT knowledge.
- Willingness to learn new skills and meet the challenges of a growing department.
- Good communication skills.
