Job Description

My client, one of the UK’s leading law firms, with over 100 years’ experience of successfully representing clients, are looking for a Legal Secretary to join their Commercial Property department in Oxford, Oxfordshire.\\n\\nThis is an excellent opportunity for a professional and organised individual who enjoys supporting a fast-paced team, working across a range of property transactions and contributing to the smooth running of a well-established practice.\\n\\nYou’ll be joining a friendly and collaborative environment that values teamwork, accuracy, and initiative. The firm offers modern systems, structured training, and a genuine focus on employee wellbeing and career growth.\\n\\nThe Role\\n\\nWorking within a team-based support structure, you’ll assist fee earners across the Commercial Property department to ensure that work is delivered efficiently and clients receive an excellent service experience.\\n\\n• Providing comprehensive secretarial and administrative support to fee earners.\\n• Managing documents, including drafting, formatting, version control, and proof-reading legal correspondence and reports.\\n• Audio and copy typing of letters, contracts, and legal documentation.\\n• Conducting ID checks, file opening, and preparing client care documentation.\\n• Managing electronic and paper filing systems, scanning, and pagination.\\n• Coordinating meetings, appointments, and travel arrangements.\\n• Supporting the smooth progression of property transactions by liaising with clients, solicitors, and external stakeholders.\\n\\nAbout You\\n\\nYou’ll be a highly organised, motivated, and detail-oriented individual who enjoys taking ownership of tasks and ensuring deadlines are met.
