Our client, based in Guildford, Surrey, is seeking a Tax Manager to join its specialist tax team.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage a portfolio of personal and corporate tax clients, ensuring high-quality compliance and advisory services.
- Provide advice on areas including inheritance tax, estate planning, capital gains tax and R&D tax relief.
- Oversee and review tax returns, computations, P11Ds, Employment Related Securities (ERS) filings and ATED returns.
- Manage project delivery, budgets and client expectations.
- Support business development activities, networking and client growth initiatives.
Candidate Profile
- ATT qualified and ideally CTA qualified.
- Approximately 4–5 years’ experience within a tax-focused role in accountancy practice.
- Strong personal tax compliance experience is essential.
- Corporate tax and advisory experience is advantageous.
- Strong technical and analytical abilities, with experience using tax and accountancy software (IRIS experience beneficial).
- Proven experience managing, developing and mentoring tax professionals.
