Our client, based in Guildford, Surrey is excited to announce that they are looking for a new Management Accounts Assistant Manager. They are a fast growing accountancy firm with multiple offices looking after thousands of businesses and individuals across Sussex and Surrey.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Supporting the Director with their portfolio of clients and start to act as the direct point of contact managing queries.
- Preparing and reviewing management accounts across a broad range of client sizes including sole traders and SMEs in accordance with UK accounting standards.
- Overseeing the outsourcing and bookkeeping functions.
- Preparing and reviewing tax and VAT returns.
- Supporting the Director with staff development and training.
- Collecting, organising and analysing practice data for reporting and analysis.
- Contributing to business development and client growth opportunities.
- Start to get involved with FP&A and financial management such as managing invoices tracking expenses or preparing reports.
Requirements
- ACCA/ACA/CIMA (or equivalent) qualified.
- Experience in management accounts is essential.
- Exposure to supervising and reviewing trainee accountants work and providing feedback.
