Our client is seeking an experienced Conveyancing Fee Earner to join their Residential Property team in Gloucester, Gloucestershire. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated and commercially minded property professional to join a busy and growing team handling a high-quality residential conveyancing caseload. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering exceptional client service while contributing to the continued growth and success of the department.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Managing a varied caseload of residential property matters
- Handling freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Managing new build and Help to Buy transactions
- Advising on shared ownership matters
- Liaising with clients, estate agents, lenders, developers and referral partners
- Maintaining regular client communication and providing updates throughout transactions
- Ensuring files are maintained accurately and in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Managing ongoing case progression and meeting transaction deadlines
- Attending team meetings and contributing to departmental objectives
- Participating in networking and business development activities
- Achieving agreed billing and performance targets
- Ensuring compliance with firm policies and procedures
The Candidate
- A minimum of 2 years' PQE or equivalent residential conveyancing experience
- Proven experience managing a residential conveyancing caseload independently
- Strong knowledge of freehold and leasehold transactions
- Experience handling new build, Help to Buy and shared ownership matters
- Experience with lease extensions, deeds of variation, equity release or development set-up work would be advantageous
- Excellent organisational and administrative skills
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
- Excellent communication and client care skills
- Ability to manage competing priorities and work effectively to deadlines
- Experience using case management systems and legal technology platforms
- A proactive and commercially focused approach
- Strong relationship-building and networking skills
