My client is recruiting for a Private Client Legal Secretary with 1 years experience to join their highly regarded and well established office in Epping, Essex. The successful candidate will ideally have experience within a Private Client department, supporting fee-earners with matters such as Wills, LPAs, Probate, and Estate Administration. You should be confident, organised, and keen to contribute to the smooth running of a busy and friendly team.
The ideal candidate will have:
- At least 1 year’s experience working in a Private Client department
- A strong desire to learn and develop
- An enthusiastic and ambitious approach
- A hardworking, proactive attitude
- Excellent organisational skills
- The ability to be adaptable and accommodating
- A smart and professional appearance
- Strong attention to detail
- Good IT competency
- Excellent timekeeping and reliability
Typical duties will include (but are not limited to):
- Assisting solicitors in the Private Client department
- Preparing and formatting documents, including Wills, LPAs, and Probate papers
- Creating and maintaining client bundles/files
- Typing correspondence
- Diary management and scheduling appointments
- Audio typing and word processing via digital dictation
- General administrative support
- Filing, scanning, and photocopying
- Liaising with clients, colleagues, and third parties
- Assisting other members of the team as required
- Managing incoming and outgoing post
- Providing occasional reception cover during holiday periods
