My client is looking for an outstanding Litigation Solicitor to join the firm as head of department in Orpington. This is an excellent opportunity for either an experienced Head of Department or a Litigation Solicitor looking to take the next step into leadership.
About the Role
As Head of Department, you will play a pivotal role in driving the future of the Litigation team. You will lead on complex cases, supervise and mentor colleagues, and contribute to the growth and strategy of the department. Working closely with partners and other heads of departments, you will be instrumental in ensuring the delivery of exceptional client service and in developing new opportunities for growth.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Managing and supervising the day-to-day work of the Litigation department.
- Leading on a varied caseload of civil litigation matters.
- Providing strategic direction and supporting the expansion of the team.
- Driving strong financial performance through effective billing and case management.
- Developing and maintaining client relationships, including attending client meetings across the separate offices.
