Our client, based in Guildford, Surrey is seeking a Corporate Tax Assistant Manager or Manager to join its specialist tax team. This role offers exposure to a diverse client portfolio, including large corporate groups, international businesses, owner-managed companies and complex, high-risk clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide corporate tax advisory support across a varied client base, including complex and high-risk matters.
  • Review technical areas such as R.
  • Conduct tax research and provide practical recommendations on complex tax issues.
  • Manage client relationships and oversee workflow delivery.
  • Review corporate tax compliance work prepared by junior team members and provide coaching where required.

Candidate Profile

  • CTA and/or ACA qualified, or a finalist with relevant experience.
  • Approximately 4+ years experience in corporate tax within an accountancy practice environment.
  • Experience identifying tax risks and advising on complex client matters.
  • Proven exposure to larger corporate and higher-risk clients.
  • Experience using IRIS would be advantageous.
