An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Corporate Tax Consultant to join my client's team in their Newcastle offices.

Key Responsibilities

  • Managing and reviewing corporate tax compliance work.
  • Providing corporate tax advisory services to a diverse client portfolio.
  • Advising on restructures, reorganisations, and corporate transactions.
  • Supporting owner-managed businesses, group structures, and succession planning projects.
  • Advising on tax-efficient profit extraction strategies.
  • Identifying advisory opportunities within an existing client base.
  • Managing projects effectively to ensure delivery within agreed timescales.
  • Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
  • Working collaboratively with colleagues across service lines to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Contributing to business development and growth initiatives.

Skills & Experience

  • Essential CTA and/or ACA / ACCA qualified.
  • Strong experience in both corporate tax compliance and advisory work.
  • Experience working with owner-managed businesses and corporate groups.
  • Knowledge of corporate restructures, reorganisations, and transactions.
  • Understanding of tax-efficient profit extraction and succession planning.
  • Strong project management and organisational skills.
  • Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a practical approach to delivering advice.
