My client is a West End-based firm of Chartered Accountants and business advisors, their expertise spans corporate and private clients.

They operate across diverse sectors, including premium hospitality, prime real estate, global businesses, and leading figures in music, entertainment, and sport, fostering a dynamic client portfolio.

Responsibilities as a Supervisor:

  1. Oversee Accounts Preparation: Manage all aspects of account preparation, including reviewing accounts files/financial statement disclosures, as well as supervising both offshore and in-house staff.
  2. Guide and Support Team: Provide advice, feedback, and delegate tasks with clear instructions, monitoring workload.
  3. Manage Workflow and Deadlines: Schedule jobs to ensure deadlines and targets are met.
  4. Address Client Issues: Manage client problems and support team members with basic client matters.
  5. Maintain Technical Expertise: Apply UK GAAP knowledge and develop skills through CPD.
  6. Communicate and Resolve Issues: Highlight delivery issues, manage expectations with senior staff, and correspond with clients.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

  1. ACA/ACCA qualified
  2. Professional practice experience
  3. Previous experience with software packages including CaseWare Accounts, QuickBooks, XERO and SAGE
