My client, a leading independent accounting and business advisory firm, is seeking an experienced Administrator to provide consistent and efficient administrative support across the business. The role will primarily support a specific department and Partner(s) while also contributing to wider firm operations and ensuring a professional front-of-house experience for clients and visitors.

Responsibilities

β€’ Provide administrative and secretarial support to allocated Partner(s) and teams, including diary management, correspondence, and call handling.
β€’ Coordinate client communication, manage appointments, and maintain accurate data within firm systems.
β€’ Assist with meeting preparation, minute-taking, and document distribution.
β€’ Handle digital dictation, scanning, and document management to support a paperless environment.
β€’ Liaise with clients professionally via phone, email, and in person.
β€’ Support reception on a rota basis, ensuring an excellent client experience for visitors and managing incoming/outgoing mail.
β€’ Organise lunches, deliveries, and meeting room setups in coordination with facilities and IT.
β€’ Maintain stock levels and office supplies.
β€’ Assist with marketing activities and the onboarding/training of new staff.
β€’ Undertake other ad hoc administrative duties as required.

Skills and Knowledge

β€’ Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail.
β€’ Confident communicator with a professional telephone manner.
β€’ Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
β€’ Experience using CRM or document management systems (e.g., CCH, Fibre CRM, Docusign).
β€’ Ability to prioritise workload effectively and work both independently and as part of a team.
β€’ Positive, proactive, and adaptable approach.

Qualifications and Experience

Essential:

β€’ GCSEs or equivalent qualifications.
β€’ Minimum 3 years’ experience in an administrative role.

Desirable:

β€’ Experience within a professional services or accountancy practice environment.

This is a full-time, office-based role with limited flexibility due to its client-facing nature.
