An established and growing law firm in Bournemouth, Dorset is seeking an experienced Property Solicitor to join its team. This role offers the opportunity to manage a varied caseload of both commercial and residential property matters while working closely with a loyal client base of individuals, investors, developers and businesses. The successful candidate will be confident handling transactions independently, providing commercially focused advice and maintaining high standards of client service throughout the transaction lifecycle.
The Role
- You will be responsible for managing a mixed caseload of commercial and residential property matters, including:
- Freehold and leasehold sales and purchases
- Commercial acquisitions and disposals
- Landlord and tenant matters
- Lease negotiations, renewals and assignments
- Refinancing and secured lending transactions
- Transfers of equity
- Property development and investment matters
- Title investigations and due diligence
- Drafting and negotiating contracts, leases, transfers and related documentation
- Managing matters from instruction through to completion and post-completion
- You will work closely with clients, agents, lenders and other professionals, ensuring transactions progress efficiently while delivering practical and commercially aware legal advice.
Requirements
- Qualified Solicitor with approximately 2+ years' PQE in Commercial and/or Residential Property
- Strong technical knowledge across a broad range of property matters
- Ability to manage a mixed caseload independently
- Experience drafting and negotiating property documentation
- Excellent client care and relationship management skills
- Strong organisational and time management abilities
- Commercially minded with a pragmatic approach to problem solving
- Understanding of regulatory compliance, AML requirements and risk management procedures
- Experience using case management systems and Microsoft Office
