Our client is recruiting for a Private Client Paralegal to join their Blackheath, London office. This role is ideal for someone looking to build on their experience within a well-established Private Client department, supporting fee earners and developing their own caseload.
Key Responsibilities:
- Assisting with all aspects of Wills, probate, estate administration, tax planning, and Powers of Attorney
- Supporting on trust matters including drafting, administration, and advising on taxation issues
- Managing your own caseload with autonomy and confidence, while receiving supervision in line with the firm’s procedures
- Making sound legal decisions using your knowledge and judgment, with support on key or complex matters
- Liaising with clients, both face-to-face and over the phone, providing clear and professional communication throughout
- Preparing legal documents and correspondence to a high standard
- Ensuring accurate case progression and file management from start to finish
What We’re Looking For:
- A minimum of 1 year’s experience as a Private Client Paralegal
- Confident handling of Wills, Probate, Trusts, and general estate planning
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail, with good numerical and administrative skills
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines with minimal supervision
- Familiarity with relevant statutory duties and a good understanding of legal processes
- Competence in Microsoft Word, Outlook, and general case management systems
