Our client, based in East Sussex, is excited to announce that they are looking for a new Accounts Assistant Manager. They are a fast-growing accountancy firm with multiple offices looking after thousands of businesses and individuals across Sussex and Surrey.

Responsibilities:

  • Managing appointments, client records, and other administrative tasks, bookkeeping.
  • Communicating with clients, addressing queries, and ensuring smooth client interactions.
  • May be involved in basic financial management, such as managing invoices, tracking expenses, or preparing reports and accounts.
  • Collecting, organizing, and analysing practice data for reporting and analysis.
  • Accounts preparation and tax returns for small and medium sole trade and Limited company businesses.

Requirements:

  • ICAEW, ACCA, AAT qualified. 5 years’ experience. AAT level 3+, charter certified. Minimum 3 years relevant practical experience in an accountancy practice.
  • Proficiency in relevant software, including Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Excel (e.g. formulas, data analysis), email, and internet navigation. Experienced in Quickbooks and Xero.
  • Accounting software (e.g. IRIS an advantage).
