An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Audit Senior to join my client's team in their Manchester offices on a hybrid basis. My client is one of the region's leading independent chartered accountants and business advisers and provides a full-service offering to their clients.
The Role: As an Audit Senior, you will be responsible for delivering audit assignments from planning to completion, working closely with assistant managers, managers, and senior team members. You will play a key role in liaising with clients, executing audit procedures, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality work. Additionally, you will support and mentor junior team members, provide constructive feedback, and contribute to the smooth running of audit engagements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead on-site audits, executing the agreed plan from start to completion, managing resources effectively, and assigning tasks with clear deadlines.
- Ensure audit quality, maintaining compliance with company policies and auditing standards while upholding best practices.
- Supervise and mentor audit juniors, reviewing their work, providing constructive feedback, and supporting their professional development.
- Prepare on-site audit findings reports, identifying key risks, areas of concern, and significant messages for review by senior team members.
