Our client, a well-established law firm in Ashford, Surrey, is seeking a motivated and professional Family Paralegal to join their busy Family team. This is an excellent opportunity for a paralegal with at least six months’ experience to gain exposure to a wide range of family law matters, develop practical skills, and contribute to a supportive and client-focused team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide high-quality support to fee earners across a range of family law matters, including divorce, separation, children matters, and financial settlements.
- Draft and prepare legal documents, correspondence, and court forms accurately and efficiently.
- Liaise with clients, courts, and third parties professionally and promptly.
- Assist with case management, maintaining accurate records and monitoring deadlines.
- Conduct legal research and prepare summaries as required.
- Support fee earners with administrative and organisational tasks to ensure smooth case progression.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Skills and Experience
- Minimum six months’ experience as a paralegal, legal assistant, or similar within a family law environment.
