My client is recruiting for a Trainee Solicitor who has obtained their LPC or SQE1 to join their Private Client team in Pontypridd. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who has completed the LPC or SQE1 and is looking to start or continue their legal training in a supportive and friendly environment.
The Role
You will work closely with experienced Private Client Solicitors, gaining hands-on experience and developing your skills across a wide range of matters including:
- Wills and inheritance planning
- Probate and estate administration
- Powers of Attorney
- Court of Protection matters
- Trusts and tax issues
You will have direct client contact, assist with drafting legal documents, and provide administrative support as needed while progressing toward full qualification.
Requirements
- LPC qualified or have successfully passed SQE1
- Strong academic background (minimum 2:1 preferred)
- A genuine interest in Private Client law
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- A proactive and professional approach
- Previous experience in a law firm (particularly in Private Client) is essential
