An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Personal Tax Consultant to join my client’s team in their Newcastle offices.

Key Responsibilities
- Providing personal tax compliance and advisory services to a varied client portfolio.
- Advising on trusts, estates, and inheritance tax planning matters.
- Supporting clients with succession and estate planning strategies.
- Advising owner-managed businesses, entrepreneurs, and high-net-worth individuals.
- Providing guidance on capital gains tax and personal tax planning opportunities.
- Identifying tax planning opportunities and delivering practical, commercial solutions.
- Building and maintaining strong client relationships.
- Working collaboratively with colleagues across service lines to provide integrated advice.
- Supporting and mentoring junior members of the team.
- Contributing to business development and growth initiatives.
Skills & Experience
- STEP qualified, or significant equivalent experience in private client tax.
- Strong experience in personal tax compliance and advisory work.
- Expertise in trusts, estates, and inheritance tax planning.
- Experience advising owner-managed businesses and entrepreneurial clients.
- Strong technical knowledge of capital gains tax and personal tax planning.
- Excellent communication and client relationship management skills.
- Commercial awareness and the ability to provide practical tax advice.
- Strong organisational and project management skills.
