My client is looking for a junior or newly qualified Family Solicitor to join their team, working solely on privately funded matters, in Maidenhead, Berkshire. This is a fantastic opportunity to work on a purely privately funded caseload within a firm that is genuinely different from the traditional high street or regional practice. The firm is award winning, highly entrepreneurial and known for its modern, flexible working culture. They have a genuinely supportive, family-friendly ethos and place a strong emphasis on developing and investing in their people. Responsibilities
- You will handle a broad range of private family matters, including divorce and financial work, children matters, cohabitation disputes, and nuptial agreements.
- The team is well structured and you’ll benefit from working alongside experienced colleagues who are committed to offering guidance, collaboration and mentorship.
- You should bring strong attention to detail, a client-focused mindset and a genuine passion for delivering high-quality advice.
- An interest in business development is welcomed, though not essential at this stage; support and training will be provided.
- This is a busy and varied role, suited to someone proactive, organised and confident in managing their own workload.
- As a team player you will also demonstrate excellent communication skills, sound legal judgement and the ability to build trusted client relationships.
Qualifications
- Family law experience: NQ–3 Years PQE
- Ability to provide clear, confident and professional legal advice
- Strong communication, drafting and organisational skills
- Solid IT skills and a modern approach to working
- Ability to manage deadlines and handle your own caseload with support
- Strong client care skills and a commitment to delivering exceptional service
