A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an experienced Inquest Solicitor or Chartered Legal Executive to join my clients highly regarded firm in their Leeds, West Yorkshire offices on a Hybrid basis. My client is a 100% employee business. This means their employees can influence the future of the business and play a key part in the success and profitability with an additional financial benefit of a profit sharing scheme.
Role Overview
This role would be suited to an experienced Inquest Solicitor or Legal Executive with expertise in handling inquests, including those involving Article 2 and Legal Aid Agency (LAA) funding. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in inquest law and be committed to providing exceptional legal representation.
Key Responsibilities
- Represent clients in inquests, including Article 2 inquests.
- Provide expert advice on LAA funding and other funding options.
- Conduct thorough investigations and prepare detailed submissions.
- Liaise with coroners, clients, and other stakeholders.
- Ensure the highest standards of legal practice and client care.
The Candidate
- Qualified Solicitor or Legal Executive with significant inquest experience.
- Knowledge of Article 2 inquests and LAA funding.
- Excellent communication and advocacy skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Commitment to client-focused service.
