Clear IT Recruitment Ltd is offering a full-time, contract role for a Commercial Property Solicitor – Newly Qualified (NQ) based in Harrogate, England, United Kingdom. Working closely with the Head of Commercial Property, the successful candidate will handle a varied caseload for landlords, tenants, property investors, businesses, companies, and private clients across office, industrial, retail, and agricultural sectors.

Responsibilities & Scope of Work
- Manage a varied commercial property caseload from initial instruction to completion with appropriate supervision.
- Handle commercial property acquisitions and disposals, including freehold and leasehold transactions.
- Advise on landlord and tenant matters, drafting, reviewing, and negotiating commercial leases, licences, assignments, underleases, and renewals.
- Assist with property finance transactions acting for borrowers and lenders.
- Prepare reports on title and provide clear, practical advice on legal and commercial issues.
- Deal with Land Registry applications, registrations, post-completion requirements, and Stamp Duty Land Tax returns.
- Ensure compliance with firm procedures, SRA requirements, and anti-money laundering obligations.
- Maintain existing client relationships and contribute to business development initiatives.
Stipend, Compensation & Mode
- Base Salary: £40,000 to £55,000 per annum (£45,000–£50,000 specified in offerings alongside targeted incentive schemes).
- Additional Benefits: 25 days' annual leave plus bank holidays, office closure between Christmas and New Year, auto-enrolment pension scheme, private healthcare, and ongoing CPD.
