The successful candidate will have a strong medical background, either working in the medical profession or within a medical negligence department.
The successful candidate will work closely with the new enquiries team, to guide and support them through the process of gathering sufficient information from prospective clients.
The job holder will interact and collaborate with the Clinical Negligence department with a view to assessing the outcome of enquiries., Provisionally assess new Clinical Negligence enquiries and make a decision as to whether they can be accepted

Review the records and relevant documentation in respect of the prospective clients.

Liaise with and communicate effectively with the new claims team and provide clear feedback on matters to the new claims team.

Keep up to date with the latest developments and changes in the relevant medical fields, legal frameworks, and ethical guidelines, and to undertake continuous professional development and training.

Assist in educating and coaching of the New Claims Advisors alongside the New Claims Technical Team Leader.

Be available and responsive, as and when required, to the team to provide support, answer queries and assist with difficult and challenging files.

Ensure all Clinical Negligence claims are assessed efficiently and to an excellent standard.

Liaise with assessment team on quality of instructions.

Experience in vetting Clinical Negligence leads.
