My client is seeking an experienced and motivated Private Law Solicitor to join their busy and supportive Family Department office based in Bolton.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage your own caseload of private family law matters from instruction through to conclusion.
- Handle a varied caseload including divorce, financial remedy, private children matters and domestic abuse cases.
- Undertake a mix of Legal Aid and privately funded family work.
- Use the Client and Cost Management System (CCMS) and apply Legal Aid eligibility criteria appropriately.
- Undertake advocacy where appropriate.
- Maintain high standards of client care and legal practice.
- Work independently while contributing positively to a supportive team environment.
About You
- Experience in private family law.
- Experience managing a mixed caseload of Legal Aid and privately funded matters.
- A good working knowledge of CCMS and Legal Aid processes.
- Confidence undertaking your own advocacy.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
