Our client, based in Oxford, is excited to announce that they are looking for a new Finance Manager. Experienced finance professional leading financial reporting, compliance, process improvement, and team performance within a multinational environment.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and develop the financial reporting team.
  • Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
  • Ensure accurate financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, and strong financial controls.
  • Drive process improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
  • Support the optimisation of finance systems and reporting tools, including SAP and OneStream.
  • Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
  • Collaborate with international finance teams to ensure consistent reporting standards and best practices.

Requirements

  • Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
  • Proven experience leading financial reporting or accounting teams.
  • Strong background in financial reporting, management accounting, and balance sheet reviews.
  • Experience within large, complex, multi-entity and/or multinational organisations.
  • Shared Services experience preferred.
  • Strong systems knowledge, including SAP, OneStream, or similar ERP/reporting platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to improve processes, implement automation, and drive operational efficiency.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.

Desirable

  • Manufacturing sector experience.
  • Experience within a US-listed environment.
  • Knowledge of SOX controls.
  • Finance transformation and automation project experience.
  • Additional European language skills.
