A leading regional law firm is seeking an IT Trainer / Process Analyst to join their team in Norwich, Norfolk. You will support the delivery of IT training and process improvement initiatives across the business. This is an 18-month fixed-term contract offering the opportunity to work closely with staff at all levels, helping improve technical capability, system adoption and operational efficiency.
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering engaging IT training, supporting users across a range of systems and working with departments to review, document and improve business processes.
The Role- Identifying IT training needs across the business
- Designing and delivering training on Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, Outlook, Teams and Copilot
- Delivering training on practice management, case management and document management systems
- Leading IT inductions for new starters
- Producing and maintaining training materials, user guides, process documentation and training videos
- Providing ongoing support and guidance following system upgrades and process changes
- Supporting users with software and systems queries
- Mapping, reviewing and documenting business processes
- Identifying inefficiencies and recommending improvements through technology and process changes
- Producing process maps, standard operating procedures and user guidance
- Supporting workflow design, testing and continuous improvement initiatives
- Previous experience delivering IT training within a professional services environment
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications
- Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills
- Experience creating training materials and user documentation
- Experience with process mapping, process improvement or business change initiatives
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Ability to build relationships across departments and support users at all levels
- Understanding of confidentiality, information security and data protection requirements
- Experience within a law firm or legal services environment would be advantageous
