My client is looking for a Litigation Paralegal to join their team in Southend-on-Sea, Essex. This would be an ideal role for a Law Graduate with some previous experience of working within a law firm.
Summary of the role:
- Dealing with new enquiries
- Dealing with file openings including AML checks and ensuring all information is inputted into case management system (Liberate) and ensuring monies paid on account
- Handling accounts matters on client files, invoicing and funds transfers
- Ensuring files are closed regularly and sent to deeds storage
- Covering reception as/when required
- General administrative support to the Litigation department
- Photocopying, filing, archiving
- Fee earner support
- Managing correspondence out and in with clients
- Typing of letters, documents and forms
Requirements:
- The ideal candidate will have some (if not all) of the following characteristics and skills:
- Previous work experience in a customer-facing role or within a similar setting
- Strong academics to degree level in any subject (we will consider candidates who have already passed the LPC/SQE)
- A keen interest in dispute resolution
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills
