An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Indirect Tax Senior Manager to join my client's team in their Manchester offices on a hybrid basis. My client is one of the region's leading independent chartered accountants and business advisers and provides a full-service offering to their clients.
The Role: As a Senior Manager, you will be a vital part of the VAT team, responsible for delivering outstanding VAT advisory and compliance services to an active and diverse portfolio of clients. You’ll work closely with the VAT Partner and other senior leaders to ensure we continue to solve our challenges while supporting the development of our people and contributing to the firm’s growth.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide high-quality VAT advice to a wide range of entrepreneurial businesses.
- Solve problems, delivering advisory projects.
- Act as a trusted advisor to clients, building strong and lasting relationships.
- Assist our large Corporate Finance team with transactions work.
Skills Experience:
- QACA/ CTA preferred.
- Significant experience in VAT.
- Proven track record in delivering VAT advisory services, ideally within a practice environment.
- Strong technical knowledge and commercial awareness.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- A proactive, collaborative approach.
