Our client, based in Oxford, is excited to announce that they are looking for a new Finance Manager. Experienced finance professional leading financial reporting, compliance, process improvement, and team performance within a multinational environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop the financial reporting team.
- Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reporting activities.
- Ensure accurate financial reporting, balance sheet integrity, and strong financial controls.
- Drive process improvements, automation, and finance transformation initiatives.
- Support the optimisation of finance systems and reporting tools, including SAP and OneStream.
- Partner with senior stakeholders to provide financial insights and support decision-making.
- Collaborate with international finance teams to ensure consistent reporting standards and best practices.
Requirements
- Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent).
- Proven experience leading financial reporting or accounting teams.
- Strong background in financial reporting, management accounting, and balance sheet reviews.
- Experience within large, complex, multi-entity and/or multinational organisations.
- Shared Services experience preferred.
- Strong systems knowledge, including SAP, OneStream, or similar ERP/reporting platforms.
- Demonstrated ability to improve processes, implement automation, and drive operational efficiency.
- Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Desirable
- Manufacturing sector experience.
- Experience within a US-listed environment.
- Knowledge of SOX controls.
- Finance transformation and automation project experience.
- Additional European language skills.
