Are you passionate about Business Tax and eager to dive into a dynamic role that offers growth and learning opportunities? Join my client as a Manager in Business Tax, where you'll play a pivotal role in supporting their clients' financial endeavours.
Key Responsibilities:- Preparation of complex Business Tax returns: You will be responsible for preparing and overseeing the preparation of complex Business Tax returns. This will require a strong understanding of tax legislation and regulations, as well as a thorough knowledge of the tax implications of business transactions.
- You will be expected to review the Business Tax returns prepared by junior team members to ensure accuracy and compliance with tax legislation and regulations.
- Assisting with business tax development (writing articles, handling sales calls, working with the in-house marketing and sales teams).
- Involvement in tax advisory projects: You will be involved in tax advisory projects, providing expert advice to clients on a range of tax matters.
- Providing in-house training on Tax matters: As part of your role, you will be expected to provide in-house training on Tax matters, to ensure that all members of the team are up-to-date with changes to tax legislation and regulations.
- Managing junior team members: There will be a responsibility for managing and mentoring junior team members, providing guidance and support as required to ensure their ongoing professional development.
- A foundation in Business Tax within an Accountancy Practice.
- Are CTA/ACA/ACCA qualified (or equivalent).
- Have outstanding communication and influencing skills.
- Are comfortable working with multiple stakeholders at all levels.
- Have excellent project management skills and be able to ensure that multiple projects are successfully delivered.
- Are able to build excellent relationships with people, often resulting in engaged teams and additional client work.
- Value feedback and enjoy creating an environment where people are always learning and improving.
- Are happy in a hybrid-working environment, and work effectively both remotely and in the office.
- My clients working week is a 37.5-hour week on a hybrid basis (with up to 50% of your time across the month home based and the other 50% office based).
