Our client is a well-established firm of Chartered Accountants based in Exeter, seeking a Corporate Portfolio Manager to join their Audit Accounts team. This is a senior role managing a portfolio of incorporated SME clients, delivering high-quality compliance work alongside advisory support. The Role
- You will take ownership of a portfolio of SME clients, acting as their main point of contact and ensuring all accounting, tax, and reporting needs are delivered accurately and on time.
- You will also support junior staff and contribute to the overall quality and efficiency of the team.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing a portfolio of incorporated clients and maintaining strong client relationships
- Preparing and reviewing statutory accounts, corporation tax returns, and management reports
- Ensuring compliance with UK GAAP/IFRS and relevant tax regulations
- Providing proactive advisory support including tax planning and business insight
- Supervising, mentoring, and reviewing the work of junior team members
- Supporting continuous improvement and maintaining high technical standards
About You
- ACA or ACCA qualified (or equivalent)
