My client, a well-established and growing Top 50 accountancy firm, are looking to hire a Cloud Accounting Technician to join their team in Milton Keynes. As a Cloud Accounting Technician, you will be working within a supportive and collaborative environment where you will be encouraged to develop your technical skills and progress your career. Responsibilities:
- Reviewing bookkeeping transactions posted by junior members of the team
- Reconciling balance sheet accounts and maintaining accurate financial records
- Acting as a key point of contact for clients, communicating via email and telephone
- Handling a variety of client queries and providing support where required
- Coordinating with internal staff to ensure client records remain accurate and up to date
- Preparing and submitting VAT returns
- Assisting senior team members with the preparation of books for year-end accounts
- Supporting adherence to professional ethics and best practice within the workplace
- Providing general administrative support to the team as required
Requirements:
- AAT qualified or qualified by experience
- GCSE English and Mathematics at Grade C (4) or above
- IT competent with working knowledge of Outlook, Word, and Excel
