What you'll be doing
As a Trainee Legal Insurance Broker, you'll work closely with experienced colleagues while developing the technical, commercial and relationship-building skills required to become a trusted adviser.
You’ll be:
- Supporting brokers with the placement of specialist legal indemnity insurance policies
- Building relationships with clients, insurers and professional advisers
- Preparing quotations, reports and policy documentation
- Using internal and insurer platforms to obtain and compare quotes
- Supporting insurer negotiations and helping secure the best outcomes for clients
- Managing policy administration from enquiry through to completion
- Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance standards are met
- Developing technical knowledge through structured learning and mentoring
Every day will bring something different as you learn about legal risks, property transactions, insurance solutions and how specialist broking supports clients through complex situations.
What we're looking for
We're looking for someone who enjoys learning, building relationships and working in a professional environment.
You’ll ideally have:
- A-Level education or equivalent
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Good numerical and analytical ability
- Confidence working with Microsoft Office applications
- A proactive approach and willingness to learn
- The ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasks effectively
- A genuine interest in developing a career within insurance broking
Experience within insurance, legal services, financial services or another professional services environment would be advantageous but isn't essential.
