We’re looking for talented individuals to join our SME Team in Doncaster. Whether you’re just starting your career or an experienced Account Handler, this is your opportunity to make a real impact for small and medium-sized businesses across the UK.

  • Start on a single product line (e.g., property owners) and develop your SME insurance knowledge.
  • Support the team with client accounts, policy administration, and insurer liaison.
  • Manage a portfolio of SME clients across multiple product lines (property owners, commercial, motor, financial lines).
  • Take ownership of client accounts, deliver tailored solutions, and build strong client relationships.
  • Handle renewals, endorsements, and liaise with insurers efficiently.

What You’ll Do

  • Manage SME client accounts, responding to queries and processing policies accurately.
  • Build and maintain strong client relationships with a customer-first approach.
  • Use e-trade platforms and client management systems effectively.
  • Ensure compliance with FCA regulations and internal standards.
  • Share knowledge and contribute to the success of the team.

What We’re Looking For

  • SME or commercial account handling experience.
  • Knowledge of SME and package/commercial combined products.
  • Proficiency with insurer e-trade platforms and client systems.
  • Understanding of FCA regulations and Consumer Duty.
  • Accuracy, attention to detail, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Enthusiasm to start a career in SME insurance.
  • Organised, proactive, and detail-oriented.
  • Strong communication skills and willingness to learn.
  • Progress towards Cert CII or ACII.
  • Experience with Acturis or similar systems.
