We’re looking for a driven and commercially minded Account Executive to join our UK Retail Sales team. This role sits at the heart of our Commercial function, focused on winning new business, building strong client relationships and delivering excellent retention outcomes. You’ll manage and grow your own portfolio while developing a high-quality pipeline, working in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where your contribution has a direct impact on business performance. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to take the next step towards an Account Director role.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Managing and developing a portfolio of commercial insurance clients
  • Building strong, long-term client relationships and acting as a trusted advisor
  • Driving new business through networking, referrals and proactive prospecting
  • Managing the full sales cycle from opportunity to conversion
  • Leading renewal discussions to deliver strong retention outcomes
  • Working closely with Broking Operations to ensure seamless service delivery
  • Maintaining high standards of compliance, accuracy and professionalism

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven experience in commercial insurance (account management, servicing or sales)
  • Strong track record of generating and converting new business
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
  • Commercial mindset with the ability to identify and act on opportunities
  • Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Experience with Acturis or similar platforms
  • Progress towards or completion of Cert CII / Dip CII
  • Experience managing a broad commercial client portfolio
