We’re looking for a Client Money Handler to join our Banking team - playing a key role in how we protect, manage, and move client funds accurately and responsibly. This isn’t just about processing transactions. It’s about contributing to a fast-growing, acquisitive business where finance operations need to be sharp, responsive, and constantly improving. If you enjoy working with detail, take pride in accuracy, and want to build a career in finance within a business that genuinely invests in growth, this is a strong step forward. It’s also a fast-moving environment where priorities can shift - so being organised, adaptable, and comfortable with change really matters.

The team you’ll join

You’ll be part of our Banking team within Finance Operations, working alongside Finance Ops, Broking Ledger Control, Sales & Purchase Ledger, and Integration. You’ll be joining a collaborative finance function, working closely with FP&A and Financial Control. It’s a hands‑on environment where work moves quickly, priorities evolve, and everyone plays a part in making things better.

What you’ll be doing

You’ll manage the day‑to‑day handling of client money - making sure everything is accurate, reconciled properly, and always compliant. In this role, you will:

  • Process client money transactions (payments, receipts, and transfers) in line with regulations
  • Accurately enter financial and client data into systems
  • Support client account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies quickly
  • Produce reports and keep stakeholders updated on client money positions
  • Make sure all activity meets internal policies and regulatory requirements
  • Manage incoming and outgoing funds to keep client accounts running smoothly
  • Work closely with the wider finance team to keep operations flowing

What you’ll bring

We’re open to hiring at different experience levels. Candidates with strong foundational skills will be supported with structured training and development, enabling progression into more specialised roles over time. You’ll bring:

  • Strong numerical skills and confidence working with financial data
  • High attention to detail - you take accuracy seriously
  • Confidence using Excel and finance systems
  • The ability to work independently and take ownership of your work
  • A reliable, accountable approach to delivering high‑quality outcomes

It’s a bonus if you have

  • Experience in insurance or financial services
  • Exposure to client money or regulated environments
  • Experience with reconciliations or ledger systems

This role is a great fit if you…

  • Stay organised and can prioritise effectively when things get busy
  • Take a proactive approach and are happy to expand your remit where needed
  • Work well with others and enjoy being part of a collaborative team
  • Are comfortable working in a business that’s growing, changing, and evolving
  • Want to learn, improve, and build a long‑term career

If you’re looking for a role where you can build your skills, take ownership, and grow in a fast‑moving environment, we’d love to hear from you.
