We are looking for a motivated and detail‑oriented Trainee Paraplanner to join our growing financial planning team. This is an excellent opportunity for someone starting or continuing their career in financial services who is keen to develop paraplanning skills while supporting the business with essential administrative tasks. You will work closely with Financial Advisers and senior paraplanners, gaining hands‑on experience across client administration, financial research, and report preparation, with full training and support provided. Day‑to‑day tasks include preparing Annual Review documents and suitability reports, making sure our records have been updated on back‑office systems, compiling data, and creating financial plans tailored to client needs while adhering to compliance regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of annual reviews, suitability reports and financial planning documentation
  • Conduct basic research on financial products, investments, pensions, and protection
  • Support advisers with cash flow modelling and data analysis
  • Ensure client files are accurate, complete, and compliant
Administrative Duties
  • Manage client onboarding, including fact‑finds and documentation
  • Maintain and update client records and CRM system
  • Liaise with product providers, platforms, and third parties
  • Process new business, follow up on outstanding requirements, and track applications
  • Handle general office administration and client correspondence
Skills & Experience
  • Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
  • Good written and verbal communication
  • Excel, Outlook
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
  • A professional and client‑focused approach
  • Interest in financial planning or wealth management
  • Previous office or admin experience
  • Working towards (or interest in starting) financial services qualifications (e.g. Level 4 Diploma in Financial Planning)
