Technical leadership without being tied to a desk. We're looking for an experienced Regional Technical Manager to provide technical leadership across BMS projects, service activity and engineering teams. You'll act as the technical escalation point across your region, helping engineers solve complex problems while ensuring customers receive technically robust solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership to regional BMS engineering teams.
  • Support engineers with complex commissioning, service and fault-finding issues.
  • Review technical designs, control strategies and specifications.
  • Attend customer sites when senior technical support is required.
  • Assist with project and service escalations.
  • Ensure technical standards are maintained.
  • Identify recurring technical issues and implement improvements.
  • Support training and development of engineers.
  • Work alongside project, service and commercial teams.
  • Maintain strong relationships with customers and key stakeholders.

Experience

  • Extensive BMS/controls engineering experience.
  • Strong commissioning and fault-finding knowledge.
  • Good understanding of HVAC and mechanical plant.
  • Previous senior engineering or technical management experience.
  • Experience with Trend or comparable BMS platforms.
  • Strong customer-facing skills.
  • Full UK driving licence.
