About the Role
We are looking for an Intermediate Applications Engineer to join our growing Engineering team. This is a fantastic opportunity for an engineer looking to develop their technical and project management skills within a supportive environment. You'll work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and customers to deliver high-quality engineering projects from order through to completion.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the development of technical designs, work instructions, and project documentation.
- Act as a key link between engineering, manufacturing, and customers.
- Assist in managing projects to ensure delivery on time, within budget, and to specification.
- Liaise with customers throughout the project lifecycle, providing technical support and updates.
- Work with manufacturing teams to ensure efficient and safe project execution.
- Coordinate procurement requirements and project documentation.
- Support Factory Acceptance Tests (FATs) and attend customer meetings when required.
- Ensure compliance with company quality, safety, and business management systems.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- HNC/HND, Degree, or equivalent qualification in Engineering.
- Experience in an engineering, manufacturing, or technical environment.
- Strong communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to interpret technical information and produce accurate documentation.
- Proactive approach to problem-solving and project delivery.
Desirable:
- Previous experience in an Applications Engineer, Project Engineer, or Design Engineer role.
- Experience working with technical drawings and engineering documentation.
- AutoCAD experience.
- Experience supporting customer-facing engineering projects.
