A leading European data centre delivery specialist is seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join its growing project delivery team. This organisation operates exclusively in the data centre sector, delivering large-scale, turnkey projects across multiple European locations.

With several high-value projects currently under construction across seven European countries, representing hundreds of megawatts of live IT capacity, this role offers the opportunity to work on some of the most technically advanced data centre developments in the region.

The Role

The Electrical Engineer will work closely with electrical subcontractors and project teams, supporting the design coordination, installation, and delivery of complex electrical systems in line with project programmes and quality standards.

Key Responsibilities

  • Coordinate and manage electrical works in line with project and company management systems
  • Review, manage, and coordinate technical drawings and documentation
  • Provide technical guidance and leadership to subcontracted teams
  • Plan, prioritise, and allocate work across the electrical delivery team
  • Ensure subcontractor compliance with site requirements, quality standards, and health & safety regulations
  • Identify and resolve technical issues through effective troubleshooting
  • Maintain accurate document control and ensure logs are kept up to date
  • Prepare test packs, handover documentation, and commissioning records
  • Promote high standards of safety, housekeeping, and site governance
  • Identify opportunities to improve safe working practices and site operations

Requirements

  • Relevant Electrical qualification (Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering preferred)
  • HNC / HND qualifications also considered
  • Minimum 5 years' experience in a similar role within an M&E or electrical contracting environment
  • Previous data centre project experience is highly advantageous
  • Strong organisational, communication, and time management skills
  • Proficient in MS Word and Excel
