An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Data Centre Sales Key Account Manager to join a leading European provider of high-performance HVAC, cooling and clean-air solutions. This is a strategic, high-impact sales role focused on the data centre sector, working with some of the world's largest hyperscale, colocation and data centre operators across Ireland and the wider EMEA market. You will take ownership of key strategic accounts, develop long-term customer relationships and identify major opportunities across the full data centre project lifecycle. This is an ideal opportunity for an ambitious sales professional who already understands the data centre ecosystem and wants to play a significant role in growing a market-leading business.
Responsibilities
- Own and develop strategic relationships with major data centre accounts across Ireland and EMEA.
- Identify and pursue new opportunities across the hyperscale and colocation data centre markets.
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic account plans aligned with customer infrastructure roadmaps.
- Build and manage a substantial sales pipeline across complex, long-term project cycles.
- Develop relationships with C-suite executives and senior decision-makers across the data centre ecosystem.
- Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions and the closing of major contracts.
- Position innovative HVAC, cooling and controlled-environment solutions across large-scale data centre projects.
- Work collaboratively with international sales, engineering, manufacturing and finance teams.
- Conduct regular business reviews with key accounts and provide strategic market and performance insights.
- Work towards ambitious revenue and order-intake targets while maintaining long-term customer relationships.
Desired Experience
- 5+ years' experience within the data centre industry, ideally across cooling, HVAC, power or critical infrastructure.
- An established network of decision-makers and influencers within major data centre operators, developers, contractors and consultants.
- A proven track record of winning large-scale, multi-million-euro projects.
- Experience in strategic sales, key account management or global account management.
- Strong commercial and contract negotiation experience.
- The ability to manage complex, multi-stakeholder sales processes with long project lifecycles.
- Excellent presentation, communication and influencing skills.
- A strategic mindset with the ability to translate market trends and customer requirements into actionable sales strategies.
- A technical or engineering degree is desirable but not essential.
