An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Global Pharma Key Account Manager to join a leading international provider of high-performance HVAC, cooling, clean-air and controlled-environment solutions. This is a high-profile commercial role with global responsibility, working with major pharmaceutical manufacturers and engineering partners across international markets. You will take ownership of strategic global accounts, build relationships at the highest levels and influence major pharmaceutical projects from the earliest stages through to delivery.

This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced pharmaceutical sales or key account professional looking to take ownership of high-value, multinational accounts within a technically sophisticated and growing organisation.

Responsibilities

  • Own and develop strategic global pharmaceutical accounts across multiple regions and markets.
  • Act as the primary commercial contact at corporate, regional and site levels.
  • Develop and execute multi-year global account plans, including growth targets and opportunity strategies.
  • Identify and influence pharmaceutical projects at an early stage to ensure solutions are specified.
  • Build strong relationships with senior decision-makers, EPCs, consultants and key industry influencers.
  • Coordinate international sales teams and internal stakeholders to deliver a consistent global account strategy.
  • Develop framework agreements, preferred supplier relationships and global pricing strategies.
  • Lead and support complex, high-value bids and commercial negotiations.
  • Monitor pharmaceutical market trends and identify emerging customer requirements and opportunities.
  • Translate customer challenges into technically and commercially compelling HVAC and clean-air solutions.
  • Maintain accurate sales forecasts, opportunity pipelines and account information within CRM systems.

Desired Experience

  • 8-12+ years' experience in B2B sales, strategic sales or key account management.
  • Proven experience managing multinational or global customers.
  • Experience within pharmaceutical manufacturing, cleanrooms, HVAC or other critical/regulated environments.
  • A strong understanding of HVAC solutions within technically demanding environments.
  • Experience developing relationships with senior stakeholders and influencing complex buying processes.
  • Strong commercial, negotiation and consultative selling skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation abilities.
  • The ability to coordinate stakeholders across different regions, cultures and time zones.
  • A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or a related technical discipline.
