40 Hours per Week + On-Call Rota + D2D Pay £35,000 - £37,500 (OTE £55,000) + Company Vehicle + Overtime

The Role

We're looking for an experienced Operations Engineer to join a busy service team, carrying out planned and reactive maintenance on gas engine installations and associated equipment across London and the surrounding areas. You'll be responsible for fault finding, repairs, servicing, and responding to breakdowns, helping to maximise equipment uptime while delivering a high standard of customer service.

Key Responsibilities

  • Carry out planned and reactive maintenance.
  • Diagnose and repair mechanical and electrical faults.
  • Complete servicing in line with manufacturer schedules.
  • Participate in a 24/7 on-call rota.
  • Complete service reports and paperwork accurately.
  • Ensure all work is carried out safely and efficiently.

What We're Looking For

  • NVQ Level 2, City & Guilds Level 2, ONC/D or equivalent in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years' engineering experience.
  • Strong fault-finding and diagnostic skills.
  • Experience with gas engines, diesel engines, generators, CHP or similar equipment is advantageous.
  • Full UK Driving Licence.
