Clear are partnering with a leading-edge systems integrator specialising in SCADA, BMS, and PLC solutions for mission-critical facilities. We\’re seeking a motivated Controls Engineer to help deliver robust, innovative automation solutions to our data centre clients across Ireland and Europe.

Key Responsibilities:

Design, program, and commission Building Management Systems (BMS), PLC, and SCADA solutions for data centre and mission-critical environments.
Support all phases of project delivery, including system architecture design, panel layout, software configuration, and on-site commissioning.
Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during project execution and post-handover support.
Provide occasional remote or on-site support for system updates, modifications, and client training.

Ideal Candidate:

Proven experience commissioning BMS systems in live or mission-critical environments (e.g. data centres, pharma, healthcare, etc.)
Strong technical knowledge of BMS platforms such as Trend, Tridium, Siemens, Cylon, or similar
Solid understanding of HVAC systems, electrical plant, and control strategies
Able to interpret and work from control panel schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Comfortable with end-to-end commissioning-from panel power-up and I/O checks to full functional testing and client handover
