Work with BMS data from the office - and help buildings perform better. We're looking for a BMS Bureau Engineer to join a technically focused team supporting customers remotely through BMS monitoring, diagnostics and optimisation. It's a great opportunity for a BMS engineer who enjoys the technical side of controls but wants to spend less time travelling between sites.

Responsibilities

  • Remotely monitor customer BMS systems.
  • Identify faults and abnormal building behaviour.
  • Analyse trends and BMS data.
  • Carry out remote diagnostics and technical support.
  • Identify opportunities for energy optimisation.
  • Liaise with site engineers and customers.
  • Produce technical reports and recommendations.
  • Escalate issues requiring site attendance.
  • Support service teams with remote technical assistance.
  • Monitor system performance and alarms.

Experience

  • Previous BMS engineering experience.
  • Good understanding of HVAC and controls.
  • Experience with BMS graphics, alarms and trend data.
  • Strong fault-finding ability.
  • Comfortable working with software and building data.
  • Strong communication skills.
  • Experience with Trend or similar systems advantageous.
