We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Science Teacher specializing in Biology to join our secondary school in Southport, Merseyside. This is a full-time hybrid role, with the position based in Hoylake but offering the flexibility to work from home as needed. The successful candidate will:
- Prepare and deliver engaging biology lessons to students
- Cater to diverse learning needs
- Assess and monitor student progress
- Contribute to the overall academic development and success of the school
- Collaborate with colleagues and participate in school-wide activities
Qualifications:
- Demonstrated skills in Lesson Planning and Developing effective educational strategies
- Proficiency and experience in Teaching, Classroom Management, and delivering Biology curriculum
- Strong Communication and Interpersonal skills to engage and inspire students
- Experience in facilitating Training and mentoring to support student development
- Commitment to maintaining a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) and a degree in Biology or a related field
- Prior experience teaching biology at the secondary school level is highly desirable
